Number of iPhones sold is greater than that of babies born in the world

The figures for the first quarter of fiscal year (which considers the Christmas period) released by Apple shows that are sold more iPhones per day than children born in the world. In 98 days, Apple sold 37.04 million devices, which is double the number achieved in the same period of 2011.

IPhone sales is greater than the number of children born in the world

This means that every day, Apple sold 377,900 phones. In comparison, the average number of children born in the world reached 371,000. This served to increase the hype for Apple's stock market. The number could point to a market saturation, but the total does not consider distinctions between models. The amount is, for example, the iPhone 4S. The fact is that consumers responsible for the force of Apple were acquired from other platforms.

The really interesting point behind this number is the conclusion that Apple today has the firepower to make this large volume of iPhones, and also sell them. Adding the numbers of iPads, iPods and Macs, Apple is now the largest semiconductor manufacturer in the world.
