iPhone and iPad may have suspended sales in Germany
On Friday (9), Apple lost a patent lawsuit against Motorola and could see sales of iPhones and iPads suspended in Germany - with possibility of extension for all of Europe. The decision by the Regional Court of Mannheim, is the result of a complaint for patent infringement against Motorola Mobility Cupertino company in April this year.
The complaint relates to a countdown feature for mobile data transfers, owned by Motorola, which had been used without permission from Apple. The accused devices from using the functionality are the iPad, 2 iPad, iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 4 and probably also the iPhone 4S, released after the injunction.
